For many years I've been looking for a way to reduce my weight and keep at the desired level. I've tried and partially succeeded by exercising and choosing reasonable foods. The problem was that loosing and keeping reduced weight always felt like enormous undertaking that required a lot of will-power. I always thought - there must be an easier way! I finally got my answer when I took NLP training. Yes, it can be easy because a person can change the way she or he thinks and feels about the process of loosing weight (or any other task for that matter). I applied NLP methods to help me in achieving my weight goals and I lost 20 pounds over one year. Don't take me wrong - I still need to eat right and move around, but many of these choices and activities have become good habits, so I don't need neither to think about it all the time nor struggle with myself. I am free! I encourage everyone to learn about NLP and other methods that help people to utilize their internal resources. It's easy, it's safe, it's effective, it's fun!

Dear Barmaley, your post is very interesting as not many people know about NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming and how it can help even with physical issues. In one of the future articles I'm planning to share with our members some of the methods that will help them to make better choices using the power of the mind.

I would be very interested in hearing about NLP and its role, if any in weight loss and appetite.
