As a healthcare provider, I often see headaches misdiagnosed and mistreated. Patients suffer neadlessly. This information is very complete and helpful to those who truly suffer from migraines, as I do. After much research on this topic myself, i think you are right on! Treatment without drugs - couldn't be better.

Hi -- Allergies that lead to migraines don't normally show up on blood or skin tests. They're typically diagnosed with an elimination diet. A good, up-to-date allergist may be able to tell you more. My web site is a practical guide to living casein-free and covers not just daily eating, but also emergency preparedness, issues with medications, and links to other great milk-free sites.

Very informative! Just discovered I have a "Casein" allergy. I'm thrilled! After 8 yrs of suffering with chronic daily headaches/migraines, aches, pains and systemic swelling, a dairy free diet is a pleasure to eat by. In less than a week, everyday I seem to get a little better and a little better. I will definitly get the book you recommend by Dr.Dainel Twogood. Why could no medical doctor come to this
conclusion? Make sure your link is really out there and easy to find. I'm trying to read all the info I can get my hands on. Will this show up with a CRP blood test? My sed rate and Rh factor were both at 20, and the family doc said I was fine. But my body was telling me diff. Any other blood tests that may "prove" this is a Casein allergy?

One of my triggers seems to be a cold scalp. In a major food store I have to be careful of how much time I'm in the cool or cold sections of the store. At home I have to keep my head from low temps sometimes sleeping with a cap. I have silent migraine for many decades.
